Nintendo DS Lite Top Screen Blank

I am having trouble seeing my top screen of my DS Lite can someone tell me whats going on?

Yea PsP's have their cracked screens and their trigger buttons not working, but thats standard in all handheld games. Ive never seen a mass defect like this in a handheld. and did anyone see the new DSi XL?

I think its kinda a waste to spend 20 more dollars on a bigger screen. I guess the DSI has some kind of defect too -.- and so they tried to make a reason to buy a different system.

On my newer one (which also chiped) I put super glue on the crack.....well its not getting any bigger at least:P
