I remeber seeing them on the talent TV Show The Loxene Golden Disc Awards. Essential viewing at the time. These guys, Space Waltz and HogsnortRupert were my most vivid memories.

I saw some of this on Eating Media Lunch and I thought it was a spoof but now that I've heard the original and Timberjack's version I love it.
Can't believe it was controversial back in '71 though because it's just a song and nothing more.
