Canada Russia Hockey Fight

• The "Punch-up in Piestany" erupted halfway through the final game of the 1987 world junior hockey championship. Canada was assured a medal, and would have moved ahead of Finland for the gold if they had beaten the Soviets by at least five goals.
• The blow-up began as a fight between Pavel Kostichkin and Theoren Fleury. Four Soviet players left their bench to join the brawl, and then all the players on both teams swarmed onto the ice.

  • @Askar9992

you realise the score was 4-2 for CANADA right....we were winning and RUSSIA started a fight being all whiney

  • Is the whistling from the crowd supposed to express disapproval?

  • All this over a fucking sport? :/

  • FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

  • Probably the greatest/infamous brawl in international hockey history.

  • Bill Murray and Harold Ramis left Czechoslovakia is such a terrible shape.

  • @Askar9992 lMAO what`s this have to do with Gretzky, Gretzky may not be a traditional Canadian surname, but Watler Gretzky( his father) was born and raised in Canada, in interviews Walter said that his grandparents were Belrusians, and has also mentioned Polish ancestry. Regardless His father was born in Canada his mother was pure Canadian, and he was born and grew up playing hockey in Canada. He`s a Canadian, and the greatest player to ever grace the game, thanks for noticing though ;)

  • @BostonCreamDonut LOL, I am not ruskie BTW Gretzky is polish ukrainian & belorus not fuckin' canadian
