Cont.>I'm a vegetarian and I thought eating tofu was fine, even late at night. But I read protein turns into fat if you don't burn it. So now I try to eat all my protein in breakfast or lunch. I ate a pesto tofu wrap-made without cheese and it ws really good. I buy like two a week and my dad who isnt a vegetarian loved it. Its really good and filling.

Glad to hear you're getting healthy. I'm doing that more and more too. I think most people get to a point and they get frustrated and say "I'm sick of this". I know I'm sick of feeling tired all the time and I'm probably pre-diabetic. I drink too much sugary things. But I've lost 16lbs in a year and I'm feeling better. I recently cut back on sugar and I'm trying my best not to eat dairy and I saw 10lbs come off fast. Also something most people know is protein turns into fat....

I think my grandparents had it right by eating a bowl of oatmeal each morning. They put a swirl of honey and always ate fruit with it. Grandma always made a big lunch with more fruit and at least two veggies and they ate their largest serving of protein at that meal. Food for thought...

Keep a close eye on your heart and your physical limitation during Zumba. Don't feel compelled to keep up with others in the class. Music can easily influence you by making you think you can do more than your body is capable of, especially in the early goings. Take breaks and stay hydrated. 64 oz of water minimum per day. Slow progress is fine, just maintain this progression. Consistency, consistency, consistency...
A number to be aware of: 3,500 calories = 1 pound of fat

It really brightens my day to see you doing so well and turnig this thing around. I can't help drawing the comparison when I think about your recent videos, I have had theists ask me where do "you people" draw your strength, there is no one to cry out to in a time of need. My answer is, we atheists have our own intelligent, loving, wise, being(s) that can really hear us and effect real change in our lives... other people freed from the bonds of religion.
