@Gobyador So...putting a lighter recoil spring in ...a suppressor...and subsonic bullets and the HP22 still cycles properly? I'm sending you a private message.

Please let us have some more info on how you attached a silencer to this pistol.

I have a HP-22 that I bought the first year that they came out. The sear broke and I sent it to Phoenix Arms and the completely refurbished the pistol and sent it back to me free of charge. It looked like a brand new pistol when I got it back. I would love to know how you attached the suppressor to the pistol. Any chance for a close up picture for the end of the barrel. The three inch barrel that I have just doesn't seem to have enough sticking out to thread.
I love you!!!

I wouldn't trust my life to this contraption. The silencer keeps the .22 from cycling properly. He might have been using subsonic ammo as well. Hp22A needs standard ammo.

@supertruckertom the contraption cannot be blamed for the malfunction, nor did i use any subsonic rounds, i was it was a armscor .22lr standard rounds (rock island armory) that was already 2 yrs old the pistol, thats why there is stil a sonic crack on the video, was so dirty after firing 200 rounds, since all who have shot a .22 know that a .22 rimfire rounds are dirty rounds, they always foul up any pistol, i do have subsonic rounds for my pistol, but i always change to a lighter recoil spring

@Gobyador We had the first mis-feed on ours tonight about 150 rounds into a box of 500
My stepson was shooting it for the first time and was not holding it firmly enough I think.
I'll be sure to keep it clean. He fired two shots and then click. I put the pin safety on and checked the chamber. No round in the chamber. What do you think? Dirt in the magazine or a limp grip? After I cycled it and showed him how to keep a better grip for it to cycle properly , no more misfires this evening.

@supertruckertom there can never be a limp grip on a 22, theres hardly any recoil, its like breeze of air pushing on a wall, limp wrist only happens on .9mm, .40 S&W and 45 and it would be failure to extract or a double feed if there was no round on the chamber but round on the clip just tap-rack, dont over engineer it, dont MIT it, dont go for rouge scholar on a pistol, just tap and rack, and keep the magazine clean
