Alexander Deineka es considerado por algunos como el padre del arte oficial soviético. Alexander Deineka nació el 20 de mayo 1899, hijo de un trabajador ferroviario en Kursk. Desde temprana edad mostró una aptitud para el dibujo, que le llevó en 1915 para entrar en la escuela de arte de Kharkov, donde estudió durante dos años.
