@democast Jews live safely in Iran. They lived safely in Iraq under Saddam Hussein. There are Jews in Yemen also. Tunisia and Morocco have significant Jewish populations. Maybe you are the one who has been brainwashed by refusing to see the subtlety in every situation. @MsBettyBowers the israelis did not exactly "invade" Palestine. If you study the history of Ottoman Palestine you will discover that the Ottomans gave permission for zionists to move to Palestine in 1882.

Also Palestine 100 years ago was usually described by tourists as "sparesely populated" Many Arabs also moved into Palestine to work on the Jewish farms that were being set up by the Jewish National Fund.

So there was an influx of both Jews and Arabs into Palestine.
