@7mercurius7 It's even more annoying when you're learning both Estonian AND Finnish (and Russian for that matter)! There's no real equivalent to English, Frisian language in NW Germany and Netherlands is nearest.

I don't really care who stolen from who. And in fact if it was really made by germanies I wouldn't boast with we were first. Instead I wanna say that I'm from Finland and it's really annoying to listen Estonian speak when it sounds Finnish but you don't understand a thing! You are listening like I should understand but you just don't! Do you feel same when you listen Finnish? It would be great if we would spoke same language! Annoying when it's just alike but still don't understand.

When Estonia was under Soviet Russian occupation, on New Year's Eve we would turn on Finnish radio and welcomed the New Year one hour after Moscow time New Year, listening to our/Finnish anthem.

@Strongone112 And i think, if we would have another anthem, that would not effect by anyway on our relations. Am just saying my opinion, Finlandia is more ''Finnish'' than this hymn, and i personally find it more beautyful than this.
