Sweet review, I'll be sure to buy this one. (Also, the gun is not called a silencer, it's still a falcon 2) @ the other reviewers, this games does look much better, but that's not to say that goldeneye wasn't awesome.

Well the one in the first level does have a silencer on it. But yes it is a falcon 2 gun.

yah man all these older games are just thrown to the side but personally i have more fun playing these then the newer games out.

I agree, the newer shooters even the new Perfect Dark Zero is too cumbersome.

Perfect dark has more features and cooler weapons.

Goldeneye just gets talked about more cause it was first.

Some people I know, say that this game has some of the worst graphics on the N64, some say of all time. I find that a totally retarded statement. I think Perfect Dark had amazing graphics. Just look at the lighting, lights flash at you and it will look a little disorientating, meaning VERY realistic. And when you step in the shadows, you can barely see your arms. I should also mention the muzzle flares. They are awesome. All of the guns look devastating every time you pull the trigger.Great game

@cynicalsage - yeah, Perfect Dark Zero didn't stick to the original, either. they got rid of all the story from the original. that sucked.

Anyway, the reason I said that is because in this game it's not detachable. Either you pick up a falcon 2, or a silenced Falcon 2. Don't worry, I know this for a fact as I now own the game.

@alece1382 the silencer is on the end. Why would it be used as a weapon? Its a suppressor.

The only problem is that you have to get the 4 MB expansion pak to play the single-player, but the multiplayer kept me going for a while and I finally ordered it today.

Who cares if Golden Eye is considered a classic? Even you admit Perfect Dark is the better game. So Perfect Dark is better than Golden Eye and that's all there is to it. And I never owned either, but I rented and enjoyed Perfect Dark. And not Golden Eye.

@Bigwill. Sure everyone remembers Goldeneye but Perfect Dark still deseves it spot.
