On Jan. 16, 2010, a group from Valley Center Christian Church in Valley Center, KS, volunteered to package meals bound for Haiti. The event was sponsored and organized by Numana (www.numanainc.com). 654,000 meals were packaged over two days and delivered to the Salvation Army for emergency distribution in Haiti following the massive earthquake that ravaged the country on Jan. 12.
