USAID Nomination Hearing Questions 2

At the Senate Foreign Relations Committee nomination hearing for Dr. Rajiv Shah to be the Administrator for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Senator Dick Lugar asked Dr. Shah to provide a status report on how higher education funding should be distributed in Lebanon, what his thoughts are in overcoming the corruption and bad governance in some of the countries that USAID has operations, and how he feels about holding countries accountable by monitoring how U.S. funds are used.
