As a pianist, "The Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis always complained because he had to sit down during his shows. Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash suggested him to stand up. Jerry Lee accepted their advice. So he started to kick the chairs, to go up on the keyboards and even to burn pianos.

  • I think it should be mandatory for all kids these days to watch real music like this!

  • It didn't matter if he played out of key, all that matters is that he was more entertaining than anyone else...Jerry Lee was great. Period.

  • the motherfucking killer !

  • Good stuff, dare you to find better!

  • check out Jerry lee live at the star club album recorded in april 1964. It's considered the best live rock & roll album ever. not so much a live album as a crime scene. Truly impressive playing by Jerry & the Nashville Teens, who somehow keep up with him.Jerry lee never really got his due, imo. Though he is the last man standing of all those sun records giants. Still around, still recording ,still playing gigs.
