Concealed weapons permits on the rise

A combination of political and economic reasons have people reaching for their guns on a scale that has not been seen since September 11th of 2001. KXLY4's Jeff Humphrey reports.

Records are being broke on guns sales and ammo sales and it's all thanks to Obama getting elected! We as American's must never take our 2nd, amendment lightly! Defend yourself and your family because the criminal will have his gun!

@kikstikdrum Most cops, except the liberal fatty cops, like us law-abiding citizens with concealed weapons permits. They see us as people that could one day intervene and help save their life. Also, im proof and studies have shown that if you get pulled over for speeding and you show the cop your CWL, you will just get a warning. They know ppl that have CWL's have NO FELONIES, NO DOMESTICT VIOLENCE, and have not been COMMITTED, basically, we are good people and cops know it.

@kikstikdrum I have 2 cops in my family and they are NRA members and every cop they know are members of the NRA and support the legal right of American's to own and bare arms! Urban cops!, Liberal cops maybe not but they are the minority! Check the gun crimes statistics and the the states with open gun laws have less violence! Period! The facts and only the facts!
