Charter STILL Sucks

My internet was out for a MONTH (yes, really, a MONTH - they actually sent me a greeting card to apologize), so once they finally got it fixed I called Charter to get my credit put back on my account. Little did I know I would get the pleasure of talking to Delicia in Panama, whose English cognizance was about half that of the computerized telephone.

However, due to her inability to work with a computer, instead of getting 1 month of credit, I got a month and a half! Keep outsourcing Charter, we'll all win!

I even had a tech come out to my house and STILL I have issues.. I really dont see how Charter is still in business. It seems they just dont care about improving the quality of their service.

Yes Charter is the WORST CATV/ISP I have ever had... When I had their TV service (I canceled a few months back thankfully), I would get signal issues left and right. Weather had nothing to do with it as it was nice and sunny.. no wind or anything. They also lack a TON of channels compared to the competition. So I got DirecTV. As for their internet, when I had it bundled with the TV, it had NO problems. Now, since I dropped the TV service, I get service outages like no other.

They fixed yours? My mom couldn't get an outbound signal, making on-demand and internet useless. I called to cancel all but basic and expanded cable and they came out and disconnected her entire service. That happened two days before x-mas, and though she saw the footprints in the snow they said no one had touched the line physically... until 7pm when they said if she had called a few hours earlier they could have sent someone out. She started calling at 7am. We cancelled the service.

Where I live at it never disconnects on me. I'm no longer with charter anyway more since I'm with att satellite now.

ATT Uverse goes off and on as well
