His version is like a zillion times better... i never like to compare a cover song... but in this case... wow... his voice is sooo touching... it moves you... Beyonce has a very powerful voice, but this... i have a winner!!!

@QueenSitiNurhaliza Actually, she did not intend to be a songwriter for this song. She just felt like changing "smack" to "smash" and they did give her credit. Beyoncé never explicitly said that she indeed wrote the song.

@drock1492 it's ok, I was just pointing out that I happen to know a bit about music production, just not as much as you, clearly. And yes, there are people out there who indiscriminately use any term for any thing they want to express. But I guess that's why we have you in this particular case, right? :)

@drock1492 but you can "sound" like a tenor (like Freddie Mercury who used to hit tenor notes) but your tessitura is one of a baritone (like Freddie who was actually a baritone with a very wide range). As long as I have read tessitura is what determines what's your type of voice. If you want to be able to sing with ease, of course. Otherwise you can just hit any note you want and ruin your voice :)
