I think alot of experienced players prefer ITG just because of the added difficulty of the steps, mods etc. I prefer DDR because I love the songs and the steps just seem to flow better.
i do agree... i think it is relativly simple chart. its just that its not what Kanomi is used to. thats why people are shitting bricks over this. although... the slowdowns were rediculously dumb. other than that it isnt bad at all
And in terms of "comeback", it really depends on how youre looking at it. if youre speaking im terms of its popularity with the ignorant public who goes and fails on a machine and walks away, itg will NEVER be as big as ddr. but in terms of experienced knowledgeable plays, itg will always be more popular.
so let me rephrase all that i meant to say. new konami stepcharts are terrible, and itg is a much better game for the experienced player. there. =D better?
Konami bought out Roxor, since it was Konami's idea in the first place, so ITG is permanently crippled. I don't see it disappearing anytime soon, but a comeback is incredibly unlikely.
Your attitude could use some work, by the way. You appear to have an "I am right, anything you say is stupid, therefore I win, and we are done" attitude.
DDR came up with the idea, so credit goes to them for that.
DDR's steps better simulate actual dancing, whereas ITG follows the music's rhythmic beat. (One isn't better than the other)
DDR's prime was Extreme/SuperNova, after which their stepchart-making skills seems to implode, coming out with crap like this.
DDR-->ITG crossovers are crap. There's one near where I live. The crossovers have no red/options buttons, don't take edits, and ITG was not designed to be played no DDR pads.
ITG wasnt killed because old ddr cabs are being updated everywhere with boxors and ITG dedicabs are still making MUCH MORE MONEY than any ddr machine.
itg isnt going to die, and youre going to continue to fail at trying to prove a point. look at the video, they think its horrible. the majority of the people do. youre just a fanboy who cant admit that ITG is better and that is why all the more experienced players prefer it over ddr.
