This is a tribute to show his mother what he does up there.

How did you get the cab ride on the 17?

I volunteer for the railroad. im a brakeman, soon to be conductor.

thats a 3 chime southern long bell. sounds beautiful when it doesnt squeek.

thanks!! we used to double head with our porter engine #5 up that hill all the time, pulling 8 to 10 cars no problem

Oh ok. I want to get one on 17 if I ever come up. She's a beautiful steamer.

thanks, yeah the 2100 had problems in the beginning but in the end she pulled the hill, the f40 was just used for head end power for the bi-levels.
