US Speed Metal from Portland, Oregon. From 1986 self-titled debut

Dr. Mastermind is Matt McCourt from Wild Dogs and Mayhem, Kurt James of Steeler and M.A.R.S. played guitar, Dean Castronovo( Ozzy, Malice, Hawaii, Wild Dogs...) drums- and Mike Varney sings background vox...
There is a demo from 1986, a Best of/ Compilation from 2003 called "History Of Evil Genius" and a demo from 2005 called "Sin Sandwich".
They are active again,Pat Lachman from Gargoyle, Killswitch Engage, halford...replaced Kurt.

  • Does the "2631" refer to a year, an address, or a zip-code?

  • @TheRebel2007 Thanx for your interest! Matt McCourt moved into a very unsafe apartment complex where he wrote the song material in a closet, and "The Villa (2631)" refers to this, but I do not know if it refers to the address or the ZIP- code- maybe you ask Matt himself, he ist here on YouTube and this page (matthewTmccourt).

    with robert robinson gtr and scott spencer the guy deen trained to replace him before he joined tony macalpine folllowing the recording of this album.

    kurt jaemes also was with neil turbin anthrx vocalist in his band deathriders.

  • I remember this from the 'guitar frenzy' album. This is one of the songs that got me hooked on guitar...."BIG TIME"!!!!!!

    Just listened to this song..... Haven't heard it in at least 10 years. Brought back great memories! Awesome guitar playing indeed!!! Would have loved to have seen these guys live in person. If anyone has footage of these guys live... Please post it :-D \m/

  • i lived in this place in the 80's i remember it was crazy crazy the villa ...i remember when guns would go off and the lil pizza parlor down the street that wanna be would be we called him wanna be because he wanted to be a pool player lmao i remember my mother purchasing her first gun in these apt.
