Nice scenery...

@Thejazzmantestifies No, that's how you do it with a freewheel too. You either use a slight incline to roll you back (easier) or you shift your body weight, feathering the brakes. The guy in the video is just locking his brakes.

@teenEDITOR That's for a fixed gear.

that's not even how you do a track stand. he's pushing against the force of his brakes, which means that he has to turn his wheel and pedal forward every few seconds.
In a real track stand, you gently rock your bike forward and backward - it's about balance, not pushing against your brakes.

I've yet to see even one Expert Village video that didn't make me rage.

Great vids, man. I'd like to see any of these pussies talk smack to your face. Anyone can talk shit behind the anonymity of the internet.
No real reason? How about when you are navigating slow terrain, usually roots and rocks on an uphill. Where dismounting would mean your going to walk it.
Or for an indisputable and necessary circumstance, track-standing during a bottleneck in a race. So as soon as you see a line you start flying, while the people with their feet on the ground are getting back on their bike...
But thanks for making the video. Seriously.

Wow. Is that ever lame. How to do a track stand ? See you just do it. But there's no reason to. Moron.
