CAPTAIN FUTURE MOVIE TEASER 2012 (キャプテン・フューチャ)

Director David Guivant an admirer of classic Animes and Mangas, is am now working on a new project called : Captain Future, inspired by the SCI-FI Classic created by Edmond Hamilton and the Japanese Anime from the 70's.

The main character is Curtis Newton, a brilliant scientist and adventurer who roams the solar system solving problems, righting wrongs, and vanquishing futuristic supervillains.

The hero himself had many incarnations and different features, depending on various artist's impressions, this project takes places 5 years after the events described in the Novels and the Anime.

The project is all produced in 2D, following director Kazuaki Kirya's footsteps (Casshern, Goemon) where cartoon and live action collide. (No 3D has been involved).

Now we can see a litlle more of Marshal Gurney, but... Curtis is still a shadow... I would like to see more of him! (for the next teaser, OK?)

Of course, you only saw the tip of the Iceberg ;) , Abel who was the sculptor of the original Captain Future Armor physical prop is playing Oto ! he shaved his head to become the android.

Not bad at all but you should have had more movement with the actors, they look stiff

It's very hard to move in deep space, due to low budget we only had low levels of oxygen and had to do one take each time in deep space and take the shuttle back to Earth :P
