You know Davey Allison died... dont you? Yes, at one point in time Jeff Gordon was a rookie , and there have been other drivers to drive the #8.

Davey had passed away in July, that's why Irvan is there. Gordon's rookie year was 93, like Bobby Labonte and Kenny Wallace. Marlin drove for the Stavola Brothers, who had the 8 before Jr. got it in 1999. Earnhardt Sr. only had DEI running about 15 Busch races back in the day, same paint scheme and everything.
