15 Years of the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women

For 15 years, the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women has supported innovative, effective initiatives designed to transform the ways in which people think and act. This video highlights the 15th Anniversary of the UN Trust Fund, established in 1996 and managed by UN Women on behalf of the UN system. The only multilateral grant-making mechanism exclusively devoted to supporting efforts to end violence against women and girls, the UN Trust Fund works to create a just world where women and girls are safe and free, able to lead rewarding lives of dignity and equality.
