The GE AC6000 is my favorite highhp unit! Glad to see that some of those powerful beasts are still out there earning a living! Great Post & 5/5!

thank you so much for explaining the spotting features! I've been trying to learn how to identify locomotives and such. Do you have any helpful resources to learn about this stuff?

Most of the ones that have been renumbered into the 6900 series are the converted C6044AC's.

are AC6000's physically bigger than AC4400's, or is just the engine size bigger

@MrZkr123: They are physically bigger, although not by much, but the rear radiators on AC6000's do stand out much more than the AC4400's.

I don't understand why there are 2 different company locos on the same train...how does it work??? I mean...CSX and BNSF split the train profits??? (sorry if my English is not good, but I'm not English)

@jossdeiboss: They don't split the profits. BNSF may borrow a locomotive from CSX (due to shortages) then BNSF owes CSX horsepower-hours. BNSF can pay back that horsepower-hours by letting CSX borrow their locomotive when appropriate.
