My favorite scenes of Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) in the movie Tombstone. Enjoy Huckleberry
"He was the most skillful gambler, and the nerviest, fastest, deadliest man with a six-gun I ever saw."
-Wyatt Earp speaking about Doc Holliday

I thought Kilmer made this part his. I predict that no one will play Doc Holliday again without being compared, unfavorably, with Kilmer..

According to the historians in Tombstone AZ, A Huckle is a grip on the side of a casket. Val isn't saying "Huckleberry" but rather "Huckle Bearer".

"I've got you now, Doc, you son of a bitch!"

"Well, you'ra a 'daisy' if you do..."

This is actual eye witness reportage from the historic gunfight.

The best western ever, in my opinion, was "The Outlaw Josey Wales", but Val Kilmer's portrayal of Doc Holliday is the best ever ROLE in a western movie.

Kilmer's "Doc Holliday" is the definitive one; it's the most historically accurate AND by far the best played. Heck, he made the whole movie which was otherwise a disappointment. They had three different directors with three different ideas as to what they were going to make of it and that shows. The other actors were good, too, and Powers Booth was superb as "Curly Joe", but there was too much soap opera and "gun control" propaganda and too little actual history.

    "Ah'm your huckleberry..."
