Everytime I die-Children of bodom(cover)

I am not a fan of COB,but I do like their second and third albums, defintely very good albums in Melodic death. The song "Everytime I die" is a bit difficult for me,maybe someone thinks it's quite easy,but I am not good at shredding and arpeggios.

well i think you did quite a good job, especially considering you say in your title that your not a shredder... you seem to nail that solo better than most people on here Ahaha, so good job, nice sound too. what effects pedal are you using? or do you have like a line 6 amp with all the effects and gadgets ext?

That's one of the most technical questions I have met although not really technical on a recording forum:). I wish I could shred (that's so cool) but definitely could not and don't wanna dedicated limited time to be just a shredder.

In this video, I was using Roland Cube with EH deluxe memory delay and an old edition of Dime distortion.

Now I live in an apartment and it's inconvenient to use amp,I'm learning how to use Tracktion 2 with recording interface Echo audiofire 8 now. Since I don't have preamp yet,I can't use all my pedals.I have tried OD-3 with battery(because all my pedals are with 220V adapters I can't use them here,so I didn't bring those adapters) with Echo audiofire in an I/O with preamp function, the sound was horrible,

and I only for once forgot to disconnect the OD-3 with the guitar, the battery died. So for now, I'm heavily relying on a soundcard, moniter headphone,moniter amp and software effects to do the job. But a tube amp and rack preamp is always my dream that I will never give up,blah,blah........I talk too much

BTW, I like your videos. Where is that vocal cover of Nightfall? I love that song and learned it 1 year ago,it has several guitar tracks to record that I didn't have enough recording ability to finish back then. I should give it another try during Christmas:) Oops,I'm really talkative today
