I am a Professional lifeguards and I can see that they are doing something everthough the time frame for an effective recovery have elapsed. Looking for the body itself in the murky waters takes a lot of effort and skills that you will be exhausted not to mention the emergency care that you will be performing once you have the victim on hand... it is plainly an accident and they have responded to the situation...
@junemme to be fair naman sa kanila, wala rin naman siguro silang maitutulong, kasi they are not even trained to handle such situations... sana sa mga susunod na events ay kumpleto na tayo, meron na tayong paramedics on standby, marshals para i control yung crowd at kung ano ano pang kailangan sa mga world class events na gaya ng Ironman.
heart failure ang nangyari kaso ang problema po wala man lang Paramedics na naka istambay sa pali-paligid tsaka nangyayari ang insidenti kahit saan yan tsk! tsk! tsk! shame on you pinas.
that's sad, di pa talaga natin kayang mag host ng mga ganyang event, kulang sa paramedics, equipments, knowledge of CPR the right way at marshalls to see kung something unusual happening to anybody may it be from the audience or contestants themselves. walang ibang tumulong, they're just watching there u see. uzi lang sila.
This is a total shock to me. I have worked with one of his companies for 4 years. He is such an amiable person. How come it took a long while before anybody noticed something was wrong? Must someone die before additional safety measures are placed? My condolences to Judith & her children. My heart goes out to them.
that is a very sad scenery, an event this huge and physically demanding there should be paramedics scattered around and be ready for a quick response. RIP Miguel Vasquez.
