Phil Dyson and Mal Brown from the Northern United Forestry group explain some surprising water-table control results at Kamarooka (North Central Victoria) during a field trip by Melbourne University students in 2008. According to Phil the plantation has lowered the water-table; salinity impacts on tree physiology are discussed with field trip staff Dr Lauren Bennett and Geoff Park (NCCMA).
