  • winnada ;o)?

wiesibada ... a65 rocket, auch sehr nett! definitiv!

    grüße back

  • Wow that is good stuff. I ran a 69 Thunderbolt for the last half of the eighties in Canada. Mine was a bit of a rat by then I'm afraid. I wish I had it now when I can afford to rebuild it. lol

Well done man. It's a beautiful example of the breed.

  • Thank you ;o)!!!

  • I'm a little confused....

All lightnings produced were Red. Fenders and everything. All Thunderbolts were Blue Fenders and everything except for the California Thunderbolts ones which were Black with chrome fenders like yours. Did you change the color?

  • Yes, i did! The original colour was blue ;o).

  • @calineophyte Sorry, but this video shows an INCORRECT example, this bike is neither a 1968 nor a 1970....as a matter of fact this guy probably couldnt afford either a Goldstar or an R69, so he came up with this boloney BSA....

  • @allcylinders Youre the sad chap & an asshole. Enlighten happens to be right; Cowboy happens to be an idiot along w/ you. Neither of you know BSA's obviously, this is a "frankenstein" bike, put together from discarded parts or because the dope couldnt find the correct ones, the '68 & '70 model years have specific differences & theyre significant because the Lightning model was further being refined. BSA is gone nearly 40 years, anyone who feels they need to customize one now is a moron, period.

  • i like this :)

  • pure class!!!

  • by the way - love the bike!

  • @enlighten650

you are one sad chap. I have a 68' lightning, it should be red with chome fenders - it isn't, most people have that original scheme and they all look the same, so mine is blue, it has high rise bars on a UK bike, twin horns for a 1970 with 1970 type TLS. oh- my fenders are currently painted.

Its down to peoples choice of how they want their bike to look, if you like it - pay a compliment, if you don't, walk on by. or better still F Off.

  • Love that sound!

  • My dad had one just like this when I just a kid.

  • The only Blue 650 Lightning a 1970, which had Chrome Front & Rear Fenders. This bike has a 1970 Front/Brake Hub Assy. It has the wrong seat and was never Blue unless it was a 1970 U.S. Model Year. There are too many british bike abortions that represented as either original or completely misrepresented. Do your Homework.
