There is no evidence for atheism

Atheism is a lack in a belief in God. Convince me there is a God and I won't be an atheist.

Now this is different than being an Agnostic. According to Thomas Henry Huxley, who coined the term, being agnostic means that one should not profess to a belief in something that cannot be proven. Typically agnostics will state that they can not prove that a god exists or does not exist.

Atheists on the other hand believe that it is not necessary to prove that a god does not exist. Rather they simply reject the claims made by the theists. To an atheist, the challenge is on the religious people: Prove that a god exists. We are more than welcome to look at any evidence for the existence of a god but trust me, we have all seen it before.

For myself the evidence that I would require is a way to communicate with the god or gods. If the god does not communicate with his or her followers, then show some kind of evidence of the things this god has done.

Everyone is just confused because the terms "agnostic-atheist" and “gnostic atheist" are appearing in blogs and YT channels these days. Atheist PHILOSOPHERS believe that atheism does indeed require arguments against god. Just because YT teenagers don’t believe it, doesn’t mean it’s not true. Here it’s not that hard:

1) If god exists he must have free will and exist outside of time

2) No being can have free will and exist outside of time

3) Therefore, god cannot exist

@TheAndrey631 Your ignorance pisses me off. Let's flip the card. Christians... you don't believe there is a God you just lack belief for any other religion. It's all the same. Everyone is born an atheist. To believe otherwise you don't need evidence but you should want it, but you do NEED hard evidence to attempt to prove this to anyone else. Not bible scriptures, strange markings, or "inexplicable events".
