..did the Yoruba ever promise the Igbos to go if the igbos goes?. Can you please provide a proof to that?

Igbo hater per excellence. I hope people can now see that the hatred for Igbos in the North and Nigeria at large is deep rooted and did not start in 1966. The first pogroms against Igbos in the North started in 1945, then 1953, and then the coup of January 1966 was used an excuse to actualize their deep seated hatred for Ndigbo. Ahmadu Bello: " If you put them in a labor camp as labourer within a year they will try to emerge as head man of that camp.." Rather than hate I would say emulate!

I see the Sarduana's outburst against the Igbos as an arrant nauseating nonsense and a clear picture of the kind of myopic leaders we had in the past who through their wicked actions threw the country into a senseless civil war. Is it a crime for the Igbos to be hard working people...let the Sarduana go and rot away in hell!

@vcjfjjhghcvjhvh, a southern nigeria is not feasible. Igbos have not forgotten the betrayal of yorubas during the civil war. "if the east goes the west goes" still rings in every igbo, the backstabbing and cowardice nature of yorubas will not make a republic of southern nigeria possible.
