Beauty Tip - Make Your Own Creme Liner

A quick tip to help you transform your favorite eyeshadow into your favorite eyeliner.

Mixing Medium: make it yourself - 3 parts Visine or water and 1 part glycerin

Ecotools: drugstore brand brushes that are affordable and green!

By the way, you won't destroy your eyeshadow with the mixing medium. to use as a shadow simply scrape the top layer or just use a corner of it for eyeliner.

um... i tried water but it became a bubble and when i mixed it it wasent like a cream. more like: i cant explain it. I tried diff eye drops but it still didnt work

Hi,

what i do is use an angled brush and damped it with the solution, it shouldn't be soaking wet. the solution is made up of 2 or 3 parts visine and 1 pt glycerin. sometimes eye drops on their own work but I've just tried the glycerin kind. the results are not always creamy, sometimes more watery. I think it depends on the ES. but even if it's watery you should be able to use it as a liner. i hope this helps.

Hey there,

you can use visine eye drops, a wet baby wipe (wipe your brush on it), water or mixing medium.

homemade Mixing medium: 2 parts of visine or water, 1 part of glycerin

Hi there, Thanks for your comment - Glycerin can be found at any drugstore. I found it at Rite Aid. It's a multi-purpose lubricant. Hope this helps!

putting the visine in the dry eyeshadow is just gonna ruin the eyeshadow.. i advise you to scoop some of the dry eyeshadow to a little container and then putting the mixture of visine and glycerin and mix all together... it's better that way, trust me.
