Gold Statue Conversion: Wondrous Myths & Legends: The Golden Touch Of King Midas. 1 of 2

This episode is from a series of several dvd's which featured the adventures of a brother/sister team named Nick and Lisa, a duo of young would-be explorers who find a cave which houses key crystals, which when found, take them to different mythologies. They find clues to individual myths, and are magically brought to the time when and where they take place. This one features the adaptation of King Midas and The "Golden Touch". Nick, Lisa and their dog Zeus are whisked back in time to the era of Midas, at the instant in time that he acquired his famous golden touch, whereby everything he touched instantly turned into gold. Trouble arises when Midas erroneously accuses Nick of stealing some of his gold from the vault. The guards bring him to Midas, to await punishment. Midas begins scolding him, forgetting he can turn the boy to gold if he touches him. Unwittingly, he does accidentally end up grazing the boy on the nose with his finger, which rapidly turns him into a shiny, golden statue.....which Midas looks at with admiration, now that this disgraceful street thief is now a "beautiful" statue made of gold, something he treasures. Lisa must intervene and helps by advising Midas' daughter, Marygold, that her father somehow has now gained possession of the "Golden Touch". She doesn't believe her, and actually feels sorry for him. His daughter runs into his arms to comfort him, initiating the golden touch on her. Before long, Midas has acquired 2 amazing Golden statues of people he's touched. A few more statues are added to the collection (the guards, who were the REAL thieves of Midas' gold), until Midas wishes for an "ungolden touch" at Lisa's request, to reverse the spell of the transformation of the Nick-statue & the Marygold-statue back to life. @MsPeppersz Well, I do have the entire collection of the wonderous myths and legends series. It's as I said in the summary and synopsis above. This only problem is, that this channel is about freezes. This particular episode obviously has a few statue freezes in it. There is one more episode in this series which has statue freezes in it, and I will probably upload that one too. But, the others do not. Well, if there's interest in it, I guess I can upload them all. You all can let me know.
