  • hey datguy781! what are ur thoughts on this concept in regards to the use of a .22 single action revolver? good to have around as a kinda small backup to the rifle. yes or no?

  • @biggypop Yes, I bought a heritage rough rider to fill the role of long term survival sidearm. However I question its longevity for that. Iam currently lookiong for a ruger single six in 22lr to replace it. Single action revolver would be awesome, no magazine, low maintenance, crisp consistant trigger.

  • have you used the bird shot for the 22lr and just a thougt remove but plate padel bit out some wood store about25 30 rounds depending on how deep you go and yes they do sell bird shot and i love them cheated my brother several times in shoting match

  • the 22 is the most underestimated round out there. i own a rifle a carbine and a pistol... you are right on. the 22 IS a deadly round. it goes in and bounces around. and 22 is an awesome sniper rifle round

  • Thanks for confirming what ive thought for years,22's would be the ultimate survival weapon and thats why i own several. Thanks for sharing

    .God bless.

  • My great great uncle bob's friend said 22s are dumb. Worst caliber ever, definitely.

  • @passantgardant 308 and 7.62 nato are the same round like the 9mm parabellum and 9mm luger. its just a different name. however the 5.56 and 223 are NOT the same round. the 5.56 is loaded to higher pressures and even though it may chamber in a 223 it can cause damage to a weapon thats not 223/5.56 compatible.

  • No endless shrimp?...... FUCK!!!!!

  • John Hinckley, Jr. proved how effective a .22lr can be at 15 feet in 1981. If Ronald Reagan had been shot buy a direct fire round instead of a ricocheted round, I don't think he would have survived. He almost died from a staph infection during his recovery.

  • I use to hunt deer with 22's !

  • best round ever.
