Shibuya is the center of new trends for Japan. Anyone visiting Tokyo should spend a few hours here at least. It's only a short 20 minute ride from our bike office, and you can ride around or park the bike and then stroll around. See 'Shibuya Riding' video for more of Shibuya scenes. If its a nice day, there is no better way to see Tokyo than by bicycle! Everyone rides bikes in Tokyo - and its safe and easy to get around. It's common to ride on the sidewalks, so you don't have to worry about cars or traffic. TokyoRentabike has rental bicycles for only 900 yen (about 10 dollars) for the whole day.

  • Question - would it be too cold to ride in Autumn ? What kind of stuff should I wear?

  • @actstasi

It stays warm in Tokyo until the end of November, and if its a sunny day, its usually warm enough to ride through the winter months too since it rarely snows in Tokyo. Temperature usually around 8-9 degrees celsius (48 degree Fahrenheit)

  • Would love to live here and change my lifestyle to a more positive one. Any tips on an American (21) wanting to move to japan?

  • Wow what an amazing experience. I've experienced the Shibuya crossing as a pedestrian and believe it or not, it actually looks far less intimidating when you're on a bike. Maybe I'm just feeling comfortable here in front of my computer screen or something? What ever the case, I'm certainly going to try the bike idea next time I'm in Japan. Thanks for making the video.

  • wow, that was a straight shot...and so nice too

  • could u do a vid on a local bike shop there??
