The front handguard is one of the most easily replaced parts of the AR platform and can be easily customized to the shooter's preference. Watch along as Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA, presents some options for replacement handguards, along with demonstrating the proper method for handguard replacement.
I love how he always says "And that's the way it is!" at the end of each video. Always enjoy these, much appreciated!

@WaCkO744 Very true, surely though you know just as well as I do there are stupid people among us who would maim their rifle (or themselves) with hand tools. I remove mine by hand, but that first few times I broke it down-whew-couple of foul oaths flew from my mouth.

@txstang84 Your right. My dad was a marine,I was born on base,so I learned how to do alot of this stuff without the tools, but you are right,if I were doing several per day,I would use the tool for ease. If you dont want to use your hand, and dont want the tool, you can use the channel lock methos as shown in another video i seen on here before.

@WaCkO744 (1) not everyone likes the potential of gouging the finish on their rifle (2) If you do that shit more than a few times within a day, like if you're an armorer, or some newb in the military tagged for M16 cleaning detail-which sucks btw, tools like that are nearly indispensible...and the screwdriver-see reason (1). Besides, he's advertising ;)

Lol...just use a pair of channel locks,or if you dont have a vagina, use you bare hand and a screw driver...
