Honda's philosophy is something to be admired, despite the fact it keeps their cars underpowered, compared to the competition. Perhaps Honda sees it's competition as creating the most eco-friendly, simple displacement, normally aspirated reliable engines, while still giving excitement to the driver. I love Hondas! Afraid to buy anything else.

NSXs are definately a special vehicle and was originally designed as an alternative to a porsche and entry ferraris at a lower price point. Not necessarally better and faster but definately in the same relative category. NSXs even today is still a very nimble and very lightweight vehicle not high Horsepower stock by todays standards but handeling is awesome!

@slurpy911, the driver of the CTS-V admitted (somewhere in this super long thread of comments) that once the NSX got up and started to run away from him, he backed off the gas. Also, the relative speeds may seem slow because the chase car, a Supercharged Acura CL 6-speed was flying himself.

this proves not all Hondas suck. People only believe this cuz of riced out civics and what not. But NSX's like these make Honda/Acura stand out from the rest.
