o oops yes u r right. but still since it was near the end of his opening statement it might have been that he had finished what he had rehearsed and just decided on the spot what to say next. if that's the case then i can't really blame him cause well everybody makes mistakes. but ya even if he is right the links, there r still links between genocidal murderers and relgious people. whether there's more or less links is hard to tell.

I would think a wise debater would close his opening statement with his best points and/or his strongest convictions.

If that is true, then Mr. Boot's perception of atheists is truly shocking.

If it isnt true, then Mr. Boot is a shit debater.

he doesn't say that all athiests r like that. nor does he say that there aren't people who believe in God that r like that.

yes i realize that. the point he's trying to make is valid but he could have used a better example than something that would upset people. but u also have to realize that not all that they say has been rehearsed ahead of time because well they have to respond to each others arguments and that very possibly was the first example that came to his mind. but well i guess i shouldn't have started this clip with that cause right away it upsets viewers but well there's not much i can do about that now.

What a total lack of any debating skills. What a total lack of attractiveness in presenting his case.

This guy would have a big trouble to proof his very own existence !

His opponent, The Boot guy - swipped the floor with him and yet he talked a complete religious bullshit.

Now, that's a debating skills worthy praising and any money to pay for.

Its only convenient that the clip starts with that reference. Its all part of his argument and whether it is cut at the beginning, middle or end of a clip is pretty irrelevant.

That said. This was part of his opening statement.

It was the final two minutes of his introductory argument.

He wasn't responding to any arguments. He was presenting his own.

Di Carlo had yet to say a word and Boot was already drawing moral equivalences between genocidal murderers and atheists.
