When I saw them in concert in Los Angeles in the 70s...heard this song... the words "Where Was God" vibrated through by body...unbelievable.

thats crazy when I was in the Navy we would come home get wasted and watch Beverly Hillbillies and Green acears with the sound off and for music it was usually the Who or Yes unless it was getting stoned with wine also and the it was ELO or Emerson lake and Palmer sometimes it was so so intense trying to get into both the music and to what was going on on those inane dumb shows Loved those days except the Navy Part of course

@bobajmc14 We used to listen to Side 2 of In A Gadda Da Vida while watching soap operas with the sound off on the TV. It was amaizing how well the two matched up!

@zoewolf OH YEAH Pink Floyd --Several small species of animals grooving togeather in a cave with a pict -- believe it was off the Omanganda album or something spelled better I cant remember the name of the radio station but it was out of Little Rock Arkansaw and we could only get it late at night Getting stoned and passing around the Boones Farm wine or Homemade Sangria and just mellow and enjoy some of the best music ever made The late 60"s and early 70"s were a great time to grow up

@bobajmc14 Don't forget Wishbone Ash The King Will Come and Pink Floyd Time.

This is Burton Cummings doing his Jim Morrison/Soft Parade rip-off. But still, I like the song for all its peaks and valleys. But not even close to the GW's best work.

first heard this song on King Biscuit Flower Hour It is one of the best songs in the world to get stoned to right along with Stairway to Heaven and Inda-Gadda-da-vidda This was the greatest era of Rock and Roll and will never be reached again
This is by far my favorite song for dancing naked to alone in my room in total darkness.
