Sorry for the first few seconds of code, the video starts soon after that. This video shows two techniques i developed while fiddling with ssao:
-Gauss SSAO: Use two different gaussian functions to map depth differences to occlusion values. Prevents self occlusion, adds depth to the image.
-Depth extrapolation: Use linear extrapolation to guess a second layer of depth at zbuffer discontinuities. Avoids halo artifacts.
