I liked this video, only problem is it seems Carlin was for gun control and abortion merely bcuz the republicans were against it, guns protect you when the government can’t, and abortion is murder any way you look at it. A fetus is its own human being with its own “right to life” regardless of the hypocrisy of others who use the term, and it doesn’t take a religious person to realize that. We were each a fetus in those stages of growth and deserved the same protection as we do now, if not more

As for abortion i take a similar stance . what about if a father rapes his daughter is that okay to abort a fetus kmowing it could grow to be deformed and hated and despised to by the family ... how about abotions for those who want them and the rest can keep them

Unrelated: he REALLY needs to look at the other side of history (in some of the cases there is no other side that is relevant but in those that have one he needs to better examine it if this is what he actually believes.)

@AllThingsRevealed If men could have babies abortion would be a sacrament. Stay out of the uterus, it's not yours, it belongs to a full grown, living, breathing, walking, self sufficient human being. That trumps the rights of a bundle of cells called a fetus. You don't want abortions, don't get one, but you have no right imposing your beliefs and views on others. I DO NOT believe it's murder cause it's not a person. It's a life, but so is a chicken. Do you fight for their lives too? Hypocrite!

He mentioned Don Wildman. He started the American Family Assn, a very conservative, fundamentalist Christian "pro-family" group (w/e the fuck that means). Idk if he's still alive or not but his son Tim Wildman currently heads the organization. It's crazy that something George mentioned so long ago is just as much of a problem all these years later.

02:14 someone compares prisons to forced labor in concentration camps. Typical appeal to people's emotions. The two are nothing alike at all. People were sent to concentration camps for doing nothing wrong. People are sent to prisons for *breaking the law and hurting people*. Prisons keep dangerous and violent people off the streets. They are a good thing.
