Episode 1.17 is 'The Royal Couple of Thieves' the one where Xena is asked to help a group of villagers recover a valuable box that has been stolen from them. It turns out that it also significant value as a weapon and is due to be put up for auction. Xena enlists the help of Auto and together they go to an island fortress. Things start to go awry when the box is stolen and the man selling the item is found dead...

Is this really Renee Oconnor singing? I thought she couldn't sing professionally because in an episode of Xena:WP they had her lip singing for her character Gabrielle. If this is really Renee singing I'm happy and disappointed at the same time because she does have a nice voice and she should have sang in the episode Bitter Suite.

Also, if this is LL & ROC, does anyone have the original video of the actresses singing together?

i was never making a statment about whether renee can sing or not, my point was the fact that we ahve been given a beautiful video to watch so why are people so obsessed with debating renees singing?

I know renee is not the best singer, but she can carry a tune most of the time.

I would say that this is NOT Rens voice(I am actually pretty sure), but to go back to the argument about her voice. My meekly opinion is that everyone can sing. It just depends on the FEELING you put in it...I mean someone can have a beautiful voice and hold the tune, but the he/she sings it without compassion.THATS horrible singing...when there is no joy in it....and my dear XenahWP, Renee puts more joy into "just" singing than YOU do in THINKING about what and how you say something
