@jffugly i asked myself the same question until i asked an army recruiter. whatever weapon you qualify for is what you get and depending on your accuracy is what you are given. in other words you can just pick up what you need from the supply sgt. at your base but you if you want to be a grenadier to use the grenade launcher you have to have physical fitness and able to move fast because that thing weighs about 5lbs. including the 7lbs rifle along with a whole bunch of other stuff.

Is that a bullet that moves the dirt at 3:11 ?

Hey I've got a question for veterans/ people who generally know about this stuff. I know the standard issue rifle for the U.S. military is the m16/m4, but Ive always wondered, how is it determined whether or not a rifleman will be equipped with the iron sights, a red dot or an acog on their rifle? Do they chose themselves?
-
@GOLDswizz we do wear it sometimes but only sometimes
-
@sparenoxpense No they don't wear those things. They have to hear commands and what not. My cousin is an army sniper and is partially deaf in his right ear...
Yet another war footage video on YouTube where the comments are overrun by Call of Duty Lovers who know so much about the army/military that they can't help but argue. Such a shame.
