Brother ur going against ur bible.zachariah,Jesus,Mosses,Abrahim and even mother of Jesus Marry received word of GOD through angel Gabriel. Now i should give the reference.

18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

For more reference see part 2.

  • Allow me to clarify- I understand that Muhammad was illiterate. Thus, when I refer to 'written revelations" I am merely referring to the information or revelation(s) which he claimed to receive from [an] angel which resulted in the written accounts of the Koran. Again, the concern I raise is that one cannot verify the identity of this angel & whether he was not, in reality, a fallen angel, Also, earlier prophets do NOT claim an angel brought them the msg from God-eg Moses nor Isaiah claim angels

  • "He was receiving revelation from angel Gabriel..." that is possible, but the issue was what supports that assertion ? Obviously none of us today was there to verify that & there is (unlike the BIble) no multiple accounts to confirm Muhammad's claims. So my question was is there proof that other valid prophets received messages that constituted written scriptures ? Again, I think NOT t-e.g., neither Moses, David, Jeremiah ,Jesus, Peter, etc... claimed their revelations came by angels.

Muhammad peace be upon him never claimed to be receiving written revelation.where did u got this idea frm.

He was receiving revelation from angel Gabriel(the angel who brought revelation to previous messengers). The message that He received were written down by the instruction of Holy Prophet(saw).

Submission to one GOD means believing in one GOD and worshiping him alone.Prophets are the way to GOD.They r the chosen people among men to deliver the message.even ur bible says it too.If u dont believe in prophets & what has been revealed to them frm GOD u will go astray. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Quran was not revealed as a book handed to Muhammad but was revealed time to time through angel Gabriel.

  • A final point I would raise is that the central truth of the original prophets was NOT submission anywhere or that there is a unitary god (for example, both baal & molech were claimed as [names] for god). The central truth is that there is One God and only One True & Living God. It is this God we are commanded to worship. Also, Muhamm. claims that he received his revelations from an angelic being. Can any examples be offered of earlier prophets who received written revelations from angels
