TONY WILSON STORYTELLER "THIS IS WHAT I DO" KS2

2/3 I have visited over 1,400 educational establishments since 1999 and often it is difficult to explain to people exactly what I do. I have nearly 300 clips published on YOUTUBE and this video is meant to give a fuller, visual experience of what happens when I am in a school. With this series of videos I hope to show how I work with an audience of students and pupils how they are given licence to participate and direct the way the story is told. I have collected short exerpts from my recent 2010 tour of South America and have, thankfully, been allowed to video the audiences as well as myself. I believe that what I do is telling a story 'with an audience' rather than at them. The stories and songs can be repeated with a small or a large audience in whatever venue is available. With over 11years' of experience I always want to make, what could be the pupil's first encounter with oral storytelling, an informative, curriculum relevant and entertaining process. By the way I am good value for money.
