Bring Google Fiber to Midland MI.mov

Midland County is home to a City of Modern Explorers. We blend rural living and high tech jobs. Our outlying areas are underserved when it comes to broadband access and our more populated areas could always use a bit more competition when it comes to Internet Service Providers. Bringing Google Fiber into Midland County allows us to explore new applications that were not possible before. Some ideas of this would be reviewing 3D images of MRI or CT scans with other Hospitals or over a conferencing application with your personal Doctor from your home PC. I cant stress enough how priceless the infrastructure would be to the citizens of Midland County. It can be used for High Speed Internet Service, extension of cellular towers for better coverage, extension of radio towers for emergency services and even bringing T.V. service (ala Verizon FiOS) to all served areas. With this in place, the possibilities are unlimited in what can be delivered.

I live here. This video makes me sad because I COULD EDIT BETTER THAN THIS. This is atrocious. Midland is and island in the MI recession because it is the home to so many rich people. Google, if you want to charge doube for GB/sec this is the place. If you want to enable people to learn and advance the species. Give someone else the fiber. We don't need it.

Dow did not "discover" napalm. Harvard Professor Louis Fieser invented it in 1943; it was first used in WWII. Dow did manufacture it for the US government and it was used, very effectively, in the U.S. intervention in Vietnam. It saved the lives of a LOT of American troops. (My guess is that is of no consequence to you.) The use of fire, in battle, goes back to far earlier times. You might consider actually learning about what you scribble before scribbling it down. Uh, Democrat, right?
