Elderly woman slammed hard by police at Walmart

I shot this video at Walmart in Columbus Ohio, and I think excessive force was used. U be the judge.....jus to clear things up she was left in the car, they were in the process of moving and had all the silverware and kitchen stuff in the car, she cut herself out of the seatbelt because she didn't know how to unbuckle it. She had NO INTENTIONS ON HURTING ANYONE!!!!!!!!!

The cop: "We're not going to hurt her..." There's blood underneath a 90 year old woman. lol Completely unnecessary. More proof that anyone can become a Police Officer! And the most ignorant people love a direct path to power! A person witha knife is a big threat... but this is a 90 year old woman witha cane for fuksake. Unnecessary use of force.

Didnt have to slam the lady, she had a cane for god sake. How hard could it be for someone who is trained in protecting to disarm an old lady? Weak cops, prolly already dead by now

Here in Australia, NSW Police have courses available that provide training for dealing with mentally ill patients.

The blame for this situation goes ENTIRELY on the carers for the elderly woman. If she is not of a sound mind, she should be minded at ALL times, especially in a public place.

The cops were of no fault whatsoever. They were called to an incident in which someone was going around with a knife, & who repeatedly refused to put it down. Elderly people can still kill people.

@JohnnyNyberg, I agree! Though because of my culture I am still horrified seeing a young person harm an old lady! Personally I wouldn't have taken her down like that but would try to reason with her.
