This is a difficult situation in Bolivia, but there are about 3,000 homeless children, who roam the streets of many of the cities in Bolivia. They have either been abandoned by their parents, or they have run away from home, because of domestic abuse. Many of them don't know how to live (who can blame them) and they end up stealing. Thus the general population tends to see them as an nuisance and they end up being abused on the streets. Please, pray for these children. In order to deal with the hunger and the cold, most of them resort to sniffing paint thinner. When you sponsor a child with Compassion, many times, you really prevent this from happening to this child.
