  • charlie sheen really did have a wonderful PR this year. no one really knew who he was and now everybody does.

  • The top dogs over at Trans-Ocean (the rig in the Gulf) were just awarded bonuses based on their SAFETY record.

  • @BattleProf53 Supposing that capitalism IS about rewarding success: 1 - Getting paid despite terrible performance is success from their point of view. 2 - If reducing some calculated variable is considered as success by the company policies then they are considered successful by the company. 3 - If they caused a catastrophe which cost the company less than the safety precautions would have then they made the company money, ergo they are considered successful by the company. I could go on.

  • They deserve to be imprisoned and all their wealth confiscated.

  • They absolutely deserve these bonuses. Anyone who disagrees is just trying to start class warfare.

  • Audacity!!!

  • Haha! I know, that's why I thought it was funny & posted it here. Apparently Investopedia is, I would say conservative run, but more likely Corporate run. :)

  • @BattleProf53 - Great comment, you are right!
