This was at a time when a nearby new Casino was being built and was offering local residents money for decent palm trees for planting around the swimming pools. The joke is the bakkie (van/car/pickup) cost a load more and this one is "In sy Moer!" Rustenburg, South Africa.

The guy who drove the car came out of the vehicle on the right side after the tree had fallen on the car. Therefore I think that this video was purposely so stupid.

But we drive on the right hand side in South Africa.......but yes i do think the video was "purposely so stupid" as they can see there is not enough space, and the camera man says in Afrikaans "where you gonna jump/go when the tree falls"
