I plan on buying this very same monitor soon to be paired with a GTX580 SLI. I plan on playing it at Ultra + MSAA OFF + FXAA OFF + Motion Blur OFF + HBAO ON. I also have an i7 2600k @ 4.8GHz, hopefully I can keep +60fps in all maps, specially Strike at Karkand which is the most demanding.
Also, how's the input lag on this monitor? I don't like playing shooters with vsync ON, I tend to turn it OFF, is the mouse responding fast with vsync off?

@kcuestag1993 sorry for the late responds. input lag is 6ms which is excellent for these types of screens (ghosting is only encounters at 11ms+). I never have Vsync on, there is no screen tearing in these games. The mouse responds fast. Im using a Razer Mamba 5600dpi.

@Drugf4c3 Thanks, I have the U2711 since almost a month ago, and I am in love with it, playing Battlefield 3 at 2560x1440 is simply amazing. I have also gotten a 3rd GTX580 for 3-Way SLI as I found an epic deal I couldn't resist, and I play it all maxed out (Except MSAA and Motion Blur) and never below 60fps, I'm quite amazed at the monitor, it's awesome! :D

@kcuestag1993 why don't you use MSAA ? You could handle it with ease. I was thinking of buying a second 590, but I saved up for when the new generation cards come, roumor has it will come late 2012...

@Drugf4c3 I see no point in using MSAA, because at 2560x1440 with just the FXAA on Medium I already see no edges/jaggies at all, there's no point. Also using MSAA at this resolution will cause the game to eat all the 1.5GB of vram, which is not good unless you don't mind having FPS drops. I play it all Ultra + AA Post Medium + AA Deferred OFF + Motion Blur OFF + AF 16X + HBAO ON. I'm usually +100fps all the time, with minimum of like 75fps in Caspian Border and Strike at Karkand for example.
